Ded's Field Test Results

Thanks to our new corporate sponsor Culprit Lures the Ded Pro Staff have quite a few new products to try out in the field.

The first product we put to the test was a Tassel Tail Grub. In particular, the TTG2 Series, 2-inch Ice Blue Shad (60). I chose this one first because it looked the most promising. It seemed like it was about the right size, and the colors looked good.

Right off I got a bite, almost as if the crappie couldn't resist. The Tassel Tail Grub held its weight just fine after catching around 45-50 fish. I only changed so that I could test the Paddle Tail Minnow.

All in all, I had good success with this grub and it'll definitely be my go-to for crappie grubs.

The next product I tested was a Paddle Tail Minnow. Specifically, the PTM212 Series, 2.5-inch Firecracker (209). This was the only Paddle Tail Minnow we were given to test.

Again, without hesitation I got what I came for - a nice crappie. The Paddle Tail Minnow held up very well after catching 25-30 fish. I could have used it longer without a problem, but I had to move on to the next product.

The last product we had time to test was another Tassel Tail Grub. This was the TTG3-715, 3.5-inch Tractor Green.

Like each product so far, I had absolutely no trouble pulling in crappie. This one was a bit more difficult to use with my setup because it's another 1.5 inches longer than the original Tassel Tail Grub I had already used.

Everything I've tried so far that Culprit Lures has made has been a success. The DedFish Pro Staff hopes to keep Culprit Lures as an official corporate sponsor for much time to come.

Culprit Testimonials

"I've used their swim-fin grubs, did pretty good with the pumpkin-green-blue-orange-red fleck, and ice blue shad colors. I've caught landlocked coho salmon on them too, they have a great action in the water, the fish love em." - Doug (Member Of Crappie.com)
